Community

RACE 2012 PBS’s Community site offers a platform for a variety of anti-racism activists and organizations to write their own blog posts, rants, reflections, poems, you-name-it.

The Community site is open to anyone who would like to submit a post. However, racist posts will not be published, and we believe that racism, classism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, and hate speech constitute racism and have no place on the site. Be sure to check out our comments/Community policy on the FAQ page before submitting your first post. Posts that contain no anti-racism lens or analysis, or that are “spammy” in nature, will also probably not be accepted.

To get started, click “sign up” below. You’ll be asked to create an account on the site and provide a very brief (one sentence) description of your first post. Once your account is approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email that contains important information on how to set up your profile and submit your draft for review. Please read these instructions before getting started!

Disclaimer: Posts published on the Community site do not necessarily reflect the views of any RACE 2012 PBS columnist, editor, or executive director.
